Orea

Orea’s story began on the harsh streets of Albania, where she and her five siblings—Brando, Kami, Bianca, Neve, and Rambo—were found without their mother, vulnerable and alone. Their faint cries attracted the attention of a rescue team, who swiftly brought them into care. The puppies were provided with nourishing food, baths, and medical evaluations to address any health concerns. Their exact duration on the streets remains unknown, but their fragile state indicated they had been struggling to survive.​

Shortly after rescuing the litter, the team discovered another critically ill puppy, Alba, along with three adult dogs—Cookie, Cacao, and Nanna. Recognizing the slim chances of local adoption in Albania, the rescue organization launched a campaign on CUDDLY to fund the transportation of all nine dogs to Italy, where they would have better opportunities for veterinary care and permanent homes. Thanks to the generosity of donors, sufficient funds were raised to embark on this mission.​

Upon arrival in Northern Italy, Orea and her companions were placed in nurturing foster homes. There, Orea received vaccinations and, surrounded by love and care, began to flourish and reveal her playful personality. Remarkably, within a week, a compassionate family met Orea and felt an immediate connection, deciding to adopt her. Now, Orea enjoys the warmth and security of a forever home, free from the hardships of her past.​

This heartwarming outcome was made possible by the collective efforts of rescuers, donors, and volunteers, demonstrating the profound impact of community support in transforming the lives of vulnerable animals. Orea’s journey from abandonment to adoption serves as a testament to resilience and the life-changing power of compassion.
