SHAGGY

Meet SHAggy!

Shaggy was discovered roaming the streets continually losing blood with a severely lacerated neck, infested with worms, and plagued by flies. Shaggy's existence was one of confinement, being tied up causing his embedded collar if that wasn't bad enough, he was also physically abused being kicked and stoned. A man even attempted to end his life using a hunting weapon but fortunately, spared Shaggy.

More about me

When Shaggy’s condition reached a dire point, his previous owners decided to relinquish him, not out of compassion, but rather as a matter of convenience. His neck was bleeding profusely and left trails of blood as he wandered the streets. Shaggy had never experienced a nutritious meal or access to clean water. Instead, he bore the weight of relentless suffering and had only known nothing but cruelty. His emaciated body was infested with fleas and ticks. Once notified about Shaggy we immediately sprung into action and rushed to his rescue and brought him straight to our trusted medical facility. Comprehensive examinations and tests unveiled a devastating diagnosis: he tested positive for filariasis, a heartworm infestation, and a severe blood infection.

Now he is very well and is looking for a family.
